Did you know we've welcomed over 700 residents in our community with 450 homes currently under construction or complete? We've also had 17 stages title and settle, with Stage 17 and 18 expected soon. Construction of our Active Open Space precinct is now complete, and both ovals will be grassed in mid September, ready for Spring 2018. The Sports Pavilion and 10 tennis courts are also nearing completion, anticipated to open in November 2017!
Stages 2 – 16 and 19 are titled and settled
Stage 17 - Expected titles September 2017
Stage 17 is located north of the display village, and also abuts Stage 18 to the east. Final road linemarking and concrete works are nearing completion. Consent to register titles is currently being procured from utility authorities and Council.
Stage 18 - Expected titles September 2017
Stage 18 abuts Stage 17 to the west, and both Stages 5 and 16 to the south. Servicing works are completed. Kerb and channel works are complete, with road construction works now nearing completion with surfacing works due to commence shortly. Consent to register titles is currently being procured from utility authorities and Council.
Stage 20 - Expected titles October 2017
Stage 20 is located north of the Local Town Centre and includes a neighbourhood park. Installation of sewer, drainage, NBN and electrical are complete. Kerb and channel works are complete and both footpath and road construction works are well progressed.
Stage 21 - Expected titles October 2017
Stage 21 is located east of Stage 20, and north of the Local Town Centre. Road construction has commenced is progressing well.
Stage 22 - Expected titles November 2017
Stage 22 is located south of Stages 20 and 21, and north of Stage 25 and the Local Town Centre. Sewer and drainage works are now complete. Installation of water is nearing completion and road construction works are progressing well.
Stage 23 - Expected titles February 2018
Stage 23 is located east of Stage 21, and includes the feature raingarden. Sewer and drainage works are nearing completion and road construction to commence shortly.
Stage 24 - Expected titles February 2018
Stage 24 is located in close proximity to the Local Town Centre, south of Stage 23 and north of Stages 26 and 30. Bulk earthworks are complete and sewer and drainage works are well progressed. Installation of water has commenced and Preparatory road construction works are due to commence shortly.
Stage 25 – Expected titles March 2018
Stage 25 is located south of Stage 22, and north of the Local Town Centre. Bulk earthworks are now complete. Sewer and drainage works are progressing well.
Stage 26 - Expected titles June 2018
Stage 26 is located south of Stage 24, and abuts the future Local Town Centre to the south. Bulk earthworks are progressing well. Sewer and Drainage works will commence shortly.
Stage 27 – Expected titles March 2018
Stage 27 is located east of Stage 23 and abuts the Kororoit Creek reserve. Taylors Road is located north of the stage. Bulk earthworks are progressing well.
Stage 28 – Expected titles May 2018
Stage 28 is located east of Stage 23 and 24, and abuts the Kororoit Creek reserve to the east. Stripping works are completed with bulk earthworks now commenced.
Stage 29 – Expected titles June 2018
Stage 29 is located north of Stage 32, and east of Stage 30. It also abuts the feature drainage reserve to the east. Construction is due to commence in August 2017.
Stage 30 – Expected titles July 2018
Stage 30 is located west of Stage 23, north of the Local Town Centre precinct and also comprises the Stage 30 neighborhood park. Construction is due to commence September 2017.
Stage 31 – Expected titles October 2018
Stage 30 is located west of Stage 26 and north of the Local Town Centre precinct. Construction is due to commence October 2017.
Active Open Space
Stage 1 of the Active Open Space precinct comprises of 1 AFL Oval, adventure playground, youth space and car parking. Construction works are now completed. Stage 2 of the Active Open Space comprises of a second AFL oval and 10 tennis courts and the sporting pavilion with construction completion estimated in November 2017. The ovals are expected to be ready for use in fourth quarter of 2018 following a 1 year establishment period of the playing surface.
The first stage of Taylors Road involves the construction of a new single carriageway (one lane in each direction) from Leakes Road to Frontier Avenue adjacent to Stage 18 accessed via a left out/right in intersection
As part of the project, a new un-signalised Tee-intersection will also be formed on Leakes Road at the entrance to the new Taylors Road. This will involve the widening and reconstruction of Leakes Road on both north and south approaches along with the construction of raised concrete splitter islands and new line markings.
Bulk earthworks to the east of Leakes Road and along Taylors Road is complete and drainage works are progressing well. The first stage of the project is estimated to be completed in the second quarter of 2018.
