The Woodlea community is coming to life and you will be thrilled to see how quickly construction has progressed!
Builders are nearing completion of their homes in our 37 home Display Village in Stage 1. The village will be open mid April and will feature our new Sales Centre, Café, General Store, Community Hub and neighbourhood park.
Located to the south east of the display village will be the homes of our first residents who purchased land in Stage 2. Titles for the 87 lot stage were issued in October 2015 and residents have commenced construction on their homes. Our first resident is expected to move in around April 2016.
Stage 3, which comprises 78 lots, is located adjacent to the Active Open Space sports facility. Titles for this stage were issued on 5th February 2016 .
Also south of the Display Village is Stage 4, comprising of 63 lots. Civil construction is complete and title registration for these lots were issued on the 26th February 2016. This stage also includes a neighbourhood park which is expected to commence construction in May 2016.
Stage 5, comprising of 58 lots, is located east of the display village. Construction is nearing completion with all topsoiling and footpath works now complete. Consent to register the titles is being procured from utility authorities and Council with title registration anticipated in late March/early April 2016.
Construction of Stage 6, comprising of 97 lots, south of Stage 4, commenced in early September 2015 and is well progressed. Pavement preparation, drainage, water, sewer, gas, electrical and NBN reticulation is now complete. Topsoiling, footpath and asphalt works have commenced. Works are on track to achieve titles in May 2016, ahead of previous July 2016 guidance.
Construction of Stage 7, comprising of 46 lots and a neighbourhood park, is located east of Stage 6 and commenced in early October 2015. Bulk earthworks, drainage, sewer, water, electrical and gas reticulation is complete. Pavement preparation works, kerb and channel are underway. Works are on track to achieve titles in July 2016.
Construction of Stage 8, comprising of 53 lots, is located south of the Display Village and commenced in November 2015. Bulk earthworks, drainage, sewer, water and gas reticulation largely complete. Pavement preparation, kerb and channel and trenching for electrical and NBN reticulation will commence in March 2016. Works are on track to achieve titles in August 2016.
Construction of Stage 9, comprising of 49 lots, is located south of the Active Open Space precinct with works having commenced in January 2016. Bulk earthworks are now complete with drainage and sewer reticulation underway. Works are on track to achieve titles in October 2016.
Construction of Stage 10, comprising of 60 lots, is located south of the Active Open Space precinct with works commenced in late January 2016. Bulk earthworks are underway with drainage and sewer reticulation set to commence in March 2016. Works are on track to achieve titles in November 2016.
Construction of Stage 11, comprising of 72 lots and a neighbourhood park, is located south of the planned Bacchus Marsh Grammar Primary School. Bulk earthworks commenced in February 2016, with works on track to achieve titles in January 2017.
Stages 12 to 15
Construction for these stages is expected to commence progressively between March 16 and June 16.
Active Open Space Sports Facility
Stage 1 of the Active Open Space sports facility, comprising 1 AFL Oval, adventure playground, youth space, pavilion and car parking is schedule to commence in April 2016 with completion by 1st quarter 2017. Stage 2 of the Active Open Space, comprising a second AFL oval and 10 tennis courts will be undertaken simultaneously with completion expected in the 4th quarter of 2017.
