What a busy Spring we've had at Woodlea, some very exciting projects are underway including Bacchus Marsh Grammar Primary School on schedule to open in 2019 as well as the recent opening of the Aintree Medical Practice, MyDoctor Woodlea! With 2,400 residents now calling Woodlea home and another 500 homes under construction, our community continues to evolve! Stay tuned for more exciting updates as we near the end of 2018.
Stages 2 – 25, 27 and 28 - Titled and settled
Stage 26 - Expected titles Late November/December 2018
Stage 26 is located south of Stage 24 and abuts the future Local Town Centre to the south. Civil construction works have been completed and consent to register titles is currently being procured from utility authorities and Council.
Stage 29 - Expected titles January 2019 Stage 29 is nearing completion with the final intersection paving expected to be completed by the end of November.
Stage 30 - Expected titles December 2018
Stage 30 is located south of Stage 23, north of the Local Town Centre precinct and comprises the Stage 30 neighbourhood park. Civil construction works have been completed and consent to register titles is currently being procured from utility authorities and Council.
Stage 31 - Expected titles February 2019
Stage 31 is located directly north of the Deanside wetlands, south-east of the future Local Town Centre precinct and includes a neighbourhood park. Water installation and road excavation are almost complete.
Stage 32 - Expected titles March 2019
Stage 32 is located to the east of Stage 30 and the future Local Town Centre precinct. Sewer works are complete and drainage works and road excavation is nearing completion.
Stage 33 - Expected titles April 2019
Stage 33 is located north of Stage 31 and the Deanside wetlands, and east of the future Local Town Centre precinct. Sewer and drainage works are nearing completion and road excavation has commenced.
Stage 34 - Expected titles June 2019
Stage 34 is located north of Stage 35, east of the of the future Local Town Centre precinct and will also comprise the Stage 34 neighbourhood park. Sewer works are nearing completion and water installation will commence in the coming month.
Stage 35 - Expected September 2019
Stage 35 is located north of Stage 33, the Deanside wetlands and to the east of the future Local Town Centre precinct. Bulk earthworks are nearing completion.
Stage 36 – Expected titles October 2019
Stage 36 is located directly south of the Aintree Wetland. Sewer installation is commencing.
Stage 37 - Expected titles July 2019
Stage 37 is located directly north-west of the future Local Town Centre precinct and north of the Active Open Space playing fields. Bulk earthworks are complete and sewer works have commenced.
Stage 38 - Expected titles March 2019
Stage 38 is located north of the Stage 23 raingarden at the intersection of Taylors Road and Frontier Avenue. Stage 38 will contain the new Woodlea Display Village including a feature park. Sewer and drainage works are nearing completion. Road excavation and water installation is progressing.
Stage 39 – Expected titles December 2019
Stage 39 is located directly east of the government primary school. Bulk earthworks are complete and sewer works will commence shortly.
Taylors Road Phase 1 – Opening Soon
Taylors Road Phase 1 - Involves the construction of a new single carriageway (one lane in each direction) from Leakes Road to Frontier Avenue adjacent to Stage 18 accessed via a left out/right in intersection. As part of the project, a new un-signalised T-intersection will be formed on Leakes Road at the entrance to Taylors Road. This involves the widening and reconstruction of Leakes Road on both north and south approaches along with the construction of raised concrete splitter islands and new line markings. Civil construction works have been completed and the road will soon be opened to traffic upon energisation of the road lighting.
Taylors Road Phase 2 – Forecasted Completion 2nd Quarter 2019
Taylors Road Phase 2 - Includes the section of carriageway from Frontier Avenue to Fields Street. Pavement construction is processing well. Estimated for completion in the second quarter of 2019.

Go West Eatery & Tuckshop will close its doors on Sunday 25th August to pursue other opportunities in inner Melbourne. This has provided us the chance to welcome a not-for-profit social enterprise cafe that will be managed by local community organisation We Love Aintree. 100% of profits will go back into your local community, so every time you buy a coffee or make a purchase at the new cafe you’re supporting things like playgroup, the community garden and local sporting clubs. The social enterprise cafe will open on Saturday 31st August. In the meantime, a pop up coffee cart will look after your caffeine needs from Monday 26 to Friday 30th August.
